Aerial Services Notice

All of our pilots are FAA Part 107 sUAS certified. The FAA enforces a maximum altitude restriction of 400 ft. for small unmanned aircraft systems across the US. Within controlled airspace (typically surrounding airports) pilots are subject to adhering all encumbrances and restrictions governed by authority over seeing the controlled airspace. These encumbrances include temporary flight restrictions, controlled airspace ceilings and restricted airspace.

With the high concentration of airports in the Los Angeles Metropolitan area (LAX, LGB, BUR, SMO etc.),

projects in Los Angeles are frequently encumbered by controlled airspace. Should your project lie

within a controlled airspace, our pilots will request a Low Altitude Authorization and Notification Capability

(LAANC) clearance allowing pilots to fly above the controlled airspace ceiling. LAANC clearances must be

requested at least 72 hours prior to flight. The Air Traffic Control of the airport governing the controlled

airspace is also the governing party to approve or deny LAANC clearances. Though our pilots have vast

experience requesting LAANC clearances with success, the decision is ultimately out of our control.

Our pilots will not only keep you abreast of the status of the LAANC clearance for your project should one be required, but put in a consorted effort to receive clearance. Should we be unable to obtain the proper clearances, our pilots will work within the restrictions the complete your project, or re-request clearance should it comply with your schedule. In an instance when a LAANC clearance is not obtained and we are unable to capture aerial footage, you will not be charged for any aerial services you were quoted.

All of our pilots are FAA Part 107 licensed carry up to $1M in liability insurance, and operate within FAA regulations. We reserve the right to delay or cancel aerial services to comply with FAA regulations, updates to the regulations or due to weather at the pilots discretion.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we prioritize safety and legal compliance,
